- 1 package 8oz cream cheese
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup chopped well-drained maraschino cherries
- 1 teaspoon maraschino cherry juice
- 1 egg
- 1 box fudge brownie mix prepared per box directions.
Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease bottom of an 8 or 9 inch square pan. In
medium owl beat cream cheese, sugar, cherries, cherry juice and 1 egg
with spoon until smooth. Set aside. Make brownie batter as directed on
box. spread half the batter in pan. spoon cheese mixture over batter.
Spoon remaining batter on top of cheese mixture gently spreading to
cover. Bake 40-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from the
side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool at least 1 hour before
cutting. Store covered in refrigerator.
